poison ivy

I've been honing intangible skills of patience, self-restraint, and inner calm. Having never really had poison ivy - ever - I wasn't prepared for the horrific reality that is having skin completely broken out in a red rash that spreads and spreads and spreads. When presented with an opportunity to climb the LRTX trestle at the Tree Carving last weekend with safety gear and a harness, you better believe I took the offer. Now unknown at the time the tree I used to rappel up and down was covered in english ivy. Oh and some poison ivy. Was it worth it? Sure. After two years, I got some shots front up on top of the trestle.
