bright eyes. yes, i swooned.

let me not lie. the bright eyes show last night was stellar. my inner pre-teenager is still a little out of breath and b'cited. no cameras were aloud at the palladium for this event, but to my dismay all those little kids had badass camera phones, so they were getting all the shots, not me. alas.

speaking camera phones. at some point, with the backdrop of bright eyes blasting from the stage, i had an 'anthrolpologocal study' moment of the age group that surrounded us. within a 360 degree view of where we were standing, there was at any given time approximately 6 kids within grabbing range, texting on their phones. given the measurements of the room, an approximation of how many people were in the space, my unscientific sampling of texters, and a dash of sobriety, i suppose i could have calculated the probability of how many kids were texting in the room at any given moment. charting this out on a graph and watching the numbers rise and fall based on the popularity of a song would have been quite an interesting set of data. any music execs reading this should totally hire me.

another fun thing to watch was the parents. this one older dude strolled by and i commented to paul, "his daughter has no idea he is here. she's so busted for saying she was out with her girlfriends." then we played the fun game of picking out the teenage versions of eva and jiri. OMG. i immediately went into denial.

next entry? i swear it will be jayme and sarah jane's excellent adventure wearing wigs and attending the taming of the shrew. with pictures and everything!
