lions out of austin will kick your a&$. the belt buckles, the mustaches, the hair, the megaphone... think rage against the machine meets deep purple meets metallica. and dripping with sarcasm. but not. totally dead serious and dead on. that was the best live show i've seen in ages at the doublewide. i mean, the sheer theatre of the bass player alone made my night. pictures? oh yeah, those. i shot a wedding earlier in the evening and i had no memory left on my card. i'm fairly devastated because those guys put on a stellar performance. i'd never buy the cd and listen for fun, but rest assured, i'll be at the show next time they're in dallas. with a camera.
