cleanp-up @ la reunion
so, i can't stop thinking about what happened yesterday. 30 or so folks showed up at La Reunion and worked in the 95 degree heat to pick up junk: tires, shingles, bottles, even kitchen sinks. not one person ever complained. not one person got hurt. everyone smiled and laughed it off when the wheelbarrow broke. good friends and total strangers 'got it' yesterday. it's my hope that what happened yesterday becomes infectous because that's what will help us through the long uphill with creating something out of nothing. this dream for dallas is catching on. thank you to all who made it yesterday and to those who sent their well-wishes from afar.
kevin nash was on hand to shoot some footage for a promo piece and the talented erica felicella was there to shoot stills. i shot not one single picture all day! so, i'll post a few once erica uploads tham onto flickr.
