then last night, we finally got to pull off the surprize party we'd been planning since like february for sweet yvonne. andrea made a lovely cake.
below? the decoy water cups. when yvonne walked in the door andrea and i were sitting at my dining room table drinking 'tea'.
whe she turned the corner, 7 little kids with hats and horns and 8 parents yelled 'surprize!' it was awesome.
yvonne's had some year and needed a good time to unwind. it's hard to believe i've known her for 10 years. in fact, the bizarre part is that yvonne, lara (another guest), anna (yet another guest) and i all lived in europe together. at the same time. and there we all were with our kids 10 years later. it's like a movie, people. yay for yvonne. i'm so happy i still know her!
