man...... austin is so cool.
what a wonderful little weekend. went to austin by myself and hung out on south congress for waaay too long drinking shiner and reading auntie mame. then i got together with a friend from high school, carrie, and saw the shakespeare-in-the-park version of mid summer night's dream, in which her boyfriend was playing a part. lovely. and hysterical. then out to some mexican place for the cast get-together. so nice. then sleep. austin motel. so deluxe. i had the waterfall motif room. sweet. this morning, i had a lovely breakfast at guerro's with lisa, vaughn's lovely wife..... looooong talk. she's so great, i just wish she were in dallas. then home. no work for 24 hours. so unlike me.
